Hello! My name is David L. Ransom, Jr.. I am also simply known as David Ransom. I am the owner of Hollywood Notary.Net, and I'm a full-time , professional Mobile Notary Public. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA (class of '87) in Mathematics/Applied Science (go Bruins!) (My Dad went to USC, so even though I am a Bruin and root for UCLA, I also like USC when they are not playing the Bruins or when it won't hurt UCLA).
I am a businessman. As far as my Notary and Apostille/Authentication services go, I think that I am the best person that you could ever possibly hire in these departments.
I consider myself an intelligent person - a smart person. Wouldn't you prefer to have a smart Notary, who can spell? I know that I would!

I'm a Los Angeles native. I hate cheap people, so if you are cheap and can't hide your cheapness when it comes to dealing with me and my business, please don't even bother to call me! I also don't like people who don't respect others, so if you make an appointment with me, please show up, and if you cannot make it, please let me know as soon as possible! Also, if you call me at 3AM for Notary Service, please KNOW that you want to use me for sure, and that you will be paying AT LEAST $60 for walk-in service and $125 for Mobile Notary Service after hours.
I know a lot of people around Los Angeles and Hollywood, since I've lived and worked here all my life. My previous employers include Fed Ex (for 16 years), The Walt Disney Company (for a total of 5 years), the American Red Cross (3 years) and UCLA (1 year). My business, Hollywood Notary.Net, has been a member of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for the past 5 years.

I Enjoy My Business
I enjoy being a Mobile Notary Public for several reasons. For one, I'm really good at it- I pay really close attention to detail. Properly processing all of your documents is the most important thing for me, and I take great pride in the work that I do in that regard. Secondly, I love meeting people- that's what makes the job interesting. Running my own business isn't always easy (or profitable, with the ongoing National Mortgage Crisis), but what makes my job rewarding is most of the clients that I've met so far. Finally, being a Mobile Notary Public, I get to travel all over Los Angeles (and Hollywood). Being a "Hollywood Notary" is sometimes really interesting, and I enjoy meeting and working with many talented artists, business owners and professionals.
